Pagosa Springs Photos

We just got back from our annual trip to Colorado. We stayed in Pagosa Springs for a week and it was beautiful. I wanted to share some of the pictures I took while we were there. This was the view from the deck at our friend’s house.

Lake Forest just before sunset.
This is from Chimney Rock archeological site outside the gift shop. They had several humming bird feeders hanging on the porch. You could stand right by them and the humming birds would buzz around your head and they weren’t the least bit scared of people.

This is Lake Hatcher at sundown. The sunset was incredible, the boat out in the water is actually my hubby with Mike Sexton, a nice guy we met golfing the day before. Mike’s a local fishing guide and offered to take John out on the lake to try for some big trout.
The last one was taken on the drive home just outside of Kayenta. We got stopped for construction and the view was pretty cool. You can see part of Monument Valley way off in the distance.

Good shot of the Hummingbird! Those things move so fast it would seem impossible to catch them in a good spot.
